Welcome to Queenmarylee.com - the home of The Queen's Croquet. What began as a simple games day for a group of Mensans in Cincinnati, OH has grown into an annual event at a hotel with wonderful food, ample beverage and plenty of games playing.

In 2008, We (yes, the Imperial We :-) will hold the 18th Annual Queen's Croquet though it is the 19th party bearing the name. We started calling them "annual" when We held the second party.

Protecting Our members, you won't see many names on this site. You can peruse the Titles and the Positions of Our members however. Some of them are quite inventive.

So what do we do at the Croquet?

We eat! We enjoy six meals during the Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon event with snacks refreshed constantly. Our Court Victualer is in charge of hospitality and her team of cooks, bakers and grillers provide healthy and tasty dishes. Haver you ever had grilled chocolate? The Queen's Grillfriend has perfected the art of grilling chocolate!

We play games! Euchre, Double Deck Cancellation Hearts, True Greed© and other games are going on constantly. Some people work jig saw puzzles while others play board games. Some people stop playing at 6 AM, turn on the coffee pots and go to bed. Some people are getting up at 6 AM, checking the coffee pots and starting a new game.

We dance! Sometimes with a DJ, this year with a boom box. But dance, we do!

We talk! And we talk and we talk and we talk and we hug and we hug and we hug.

Sometimes there are weddings. Always there is great merriment.

And then We hold Court on Sunday to honor those who have worked so hard to make the weekend a success and to hear petitions for titles, positions and favors.
